Weekly Filet #175: Can We Have Some Music? And more.
There's a lot to worry about these days. So I think we deserved ourselves a music break. One wonderful place on the web to discover some music you've probably never heard before is NPR's Tiny Desk series. Three songs in an intimate setting, lots of little known bands, but you'll also find The Pixies, Daughter or The National. If you use Spotify, there's a playlist for the Tiny Desk Concerts you can follow.

→ The One-Handed Backhand Has All but Disappeared (New York Times)
Thought-provoking, topical episode of the great Philosophy Bites podcast: In times of war, where do we draw the line between civilians and combattants? And should we do so in the first place?
→ Sparing Civilians in War (Philosophy Bites)
The Portuguese man-of-war is infamous for its painful sting, but one photographer finds the beauty inside this animal's dangerous embrace.

By the way, next week's Weekly Filet will be guest curated, like twice before. If you want me to ask someone specific, let me know. Just reply to this email.
Have a nice weekend!
